Administrator, Herts Inclusive Theatre

Herts Inclusive Theatre (HIT) use the arts and wellbeing practices to build confidence, develop skills and give participants and their families memorable, enjoyable life experiences where everyone is encouraged, valued, supported and has their part to play.

We believe that everyone should have opportunities to enhance their lives through creative and educational activities in environments that are positive and welcoming to all, regardless of people’s background or abilities.

We aim to improve the well-being of people, particularly children and young people and those who are disadvantaged or disabled, by using the arts to build confidence and develop skills in an inclusive, fun, creative space.

Our drama activities are open to all, particularly welcoming disabled people and those experiencing various kinds of disadvantage.

Herts Inclusive Theatre are looking for a dynamic and motivated Administrator to join their small friendly team based in Watford from January (or late December if possible).

The position is to support the day to day running of the charity and busy office. The position will be responsible to the Director and work alongside the Fundraising and Project Managers, core contractors and volunteers. The post will include occasional evening and weekend work.

The position would be based at the organisations office at The Holywell Centre in Watford, but also be required to visit workshop and performance venues in and around South West Hertfordshire. The preferred applicant would have access to their own transport.

The post will be for 32 hours per week worked over 4 or 5 days. Office opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, the hours must be worked within this time unless otherwise stated.
