Bristol Office

Salary:  £23,160 per annum pro rota, plus excellent benefits

Contract: Fixed term for 12 months to cover maternity leave, working 17.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

We are seeking an Assistant for the South West Area Team.  This position will be based in Bristol, although you may be required to travel to our other offices across England from time to time.

The post will provide PA support to the area directors. You will also be providing administrative assistance to the leadership and specialist teams, servicing and event-managing internal and external business meetings and coordinating administrative processes. Key tasks include collating and distributing agendas and papers, note-taking and following-up on actions, and providing support for cross-team working groups and other committees, as required.

We are looking to recruit someone who has strong IT skills and demonstrable experience of providing PA duties in a similar environment.  You must have good problem solving skills and enjoy working both independently and within a team.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience of providing administrative and programme support, preferably in a similar role and be willing to have a flexible approach to your work.  Experience and/or a good understanding of the public sector and/or arts and culture sector is desirable.

Disabled people, those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds and people under 30 are under-represented in our workforce so we particularly encourage applications from people in these groups.
