Borough Archivist (Maternity Cover), Kingston Heritage Service

Description

Are you an enthusiastic, confident and experienced archivist? Do you have a post-graduate in Archives and Records Management (or equivalent) and have post qualification experience in the management of records and archives? If so you could be the perfect applicant for Kingston’s Borough Archivist position.

The post holder will focus on managing, conserving, providing and promoting access to Kingston History Centre’s archive collections. You will be a part of developing and delivering a vibrant, exciting Heritage Service that has Kingston’s heritage and collections at the heart of it. 

This role will provide ideal opportunities for an archivist seeking new challenges in further developing processes and embedding new systems, working in a visitor environment and promoting the the importance of Kingston’s archive to teams across the council, local communities, partners and stakeholders.
