Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) Manager (Maternity Cover), Dance City


Are you passionate about dance, and want to inspire and empower gifted young dancers to fulfil their dance potential?

If so, we need you at Dance City to support us in developing and delivering our National Dance Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) programme. We are looking for a creative and committed CAT Manager to cover maternity leave.

You’ll work closely with the Artistic Director and CAT team to deliver the Dance City CAT programme across the North East region – finding and attracting the best dance talent to train at our world class facilities in Newcastle and Darlington.

You will support CAT students to access funding from the Department for Education to cover part or all tuition fees.

You like to take the initiative, find new ways of problem solving and have an overwhelming passion to champion dance education.

Location: Based primarily at Dance City, Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: £26,000 – 30,000

Full time fixed term position covering maternity leave
