Choreographer: experimental/contemporary, Flux Intermedia

Flux Intermedia R+D

Flux intermedia seeks a choreographer to create experimental/contemporary dance for two performers for an initial R+D phase of an exciting new intermedia performance work. 

Dates:

One week, early December (dates currently TBC), plus one day attending dancer auditions (date tbc)

In line with ITC/Equity rates

About:

Flux intermedia is a new company producing intermedia work that follows the traditions of the Fluxus group of artists. This initial R+D period will combine experimental/contemporary dance, experimental music, creative lighting, live visuals and live/performance writing. Eight artists from these different areas will work together over a week’s research and development period, culminating in a live public performance.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Choreographing two dancers during the R+D period and working closely with the rest of the creative team
  • Being present at auditions for dancers 

This is a self-employed position. We encourage applications from artists of all backgrounds and life-experiences.
