Creative Producer, HERA

Description

'A Reasonable Adjustment' (working title)  is a new electronic opera by composer Amble Skuse. A verbatim opera about disabled people’s experiences under austerity in the UK, written for an exceptional all-disabled ensemble, it will be premiered in early 2021 as part of Sound Festival (Aberdeen). With the ensemble unlikely to be able to perform together publicly until a vaccine is found, the work is being reimagined as a live digital event: combining live/streamed performance, video, and interactive audio. We’re looking for an experienced freelance creative producer to work with us to help make it happen.

Produced by HERA (wearehera.co.uk). A Sound Festival commission supported by Help Musicians, Mahogany Opera Group, Ignite Ticket Fund and Creative Scotland.

Open to applicants anywhere in the UK. Fee £2,100.
