Distribution Worker, HowDo?! Yorkshire

For HowDo?! Yorkshire and based at Bread+Roses, North Parade, Bradford

£8.50ph + expenses + pro-rata holiday pay
Ongoing casual contract (freelance or zero hours)

We are looking for confident and hardworking distribution workers to work with us promoting regional arts events and distributing printed flyers and magazines. You will work as part of a team, often with a delivery driver and sometimes independently using public transport, to deliver packages of flyers and magazines to community locations across the Yorkshire region. We also offer door-to-door distribution and hand-to-hand promotions on the street, and the role includes some administrative duties such as distribution reports and trip research.

Each distribution run includes hundreds of locations and the job can be complex and physically demanding. You will gain experience in organising and communicating as part of a team, and you will get to know Yorkshire.

If you’re a confident individual who is passionate about promoting regional arts and community events, we would like to meet you. For this position, you should be creative and comfortable working independently, and the ideal candidate will be accustomed to a quick paced, physical job.

Requirements

  • Extremely hard working and diligent
  • Passionate about the arts and/or other Yorkshire culture such as sports, community, etc.
