Description

The World Famous is a company of creative pyrotechnicians with a passion for playing with fire.

We use fireworks, fire, flame and special effects to animate, amaze, celebrate and communicate. Our shows combine pyrotechnics with performance, music, lighting and projections.  We work in this medium because it communicates directly to everyone – fire crosses language barriers and our work appeals to a wide-ranging audience.  Click here to get a taste of some of our shows.

2012 looks set to the busiest time yet in our 12-year history.  We are already working on some exciting, high-profile projects for this Olympic year - some stricly under wraps for the time being - and there are more on the way.

We are looking to expand our team of freelance Project Managers and Production Managers to support our existing team throughout the summer.  If you are enthusiastic, experienced, level-headed and a great communicator - with a track record in outdoor arts, fireworks and / or public events - we would love to hear from you.  Send us your cv or call 01732 852002 for an informal chat with our Director.

Internships in the arts

Arts Council and Creative & Cultural Skills have published these guidelines to help clarify the legal obligations of arts organisations offering internships.
