Front of House Team Leader, Freelands Foundation


The Freelands Foundation’s mission is to support artists and cultural institutions, to broaden audiences for the visual arts and to enable all young people to engage actively with the creation and enjoyment of art.

Our new gallery space opened in February 2018, allowing us to share the work of the Foundation and mount a varied programme of events and exhibitions. In 2019 we will be extending our opening hours to Thursday – Sunday 12.00 – 18.00 and we are looking for a strong Front of House team to support us. We will have six shows per annum with a run of five – six weeks each.

If you have experience working Front of House, are confident working both independently and as part of a small team and have a keen interest in and passion for the visual arts and education we would love to hear from you.

Salary: £22,500 (pro rata)

21 hours weekly during exhibition opening times Friday – Sunday when gallery is open c.32 weeks per annum, 11: 15 – 18:15

The Front of House Team Leader will be required to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during weeks when we have an exhibition showing. The Team Leader will be the Key Holder for the gallery during weekends, and oversee a Front of House Assistant. The role will include c.32 weekends during the year. Dates of gallery opening will be communicated in advance.

The appointment is subject to a DBS check.
