Graduate Placement – Digital Content Creator, Lougher Contemporary Ltd

About Us:

Lougher Contemporary is seeking a under- or post-graduate to assist with digital content creation for its social media and blog platform.

Lougher Contemporary is a Bristol-based private client art dealership and broker specialising in editions and multiples by established contemporary artists. With a growing online presence, a key part of the company’s strategy is to increase its digital following and engagement.

Job Description:

The primary focus of the role would be to research and create engaging content for Lougher Contemporary’s social media platforms, with a particular focus on established contemporary artists, and significant artists of past generations, along with commentary on important exhibitions and art market news. These would be posted online to an audience in excess of 30,000 people.

The role would suit under- or post-graduates with ambitions of full time employment in the art industry. We anticipate a commitment of approximately 5-10 hours per week on a short term basis, from six weeks up to six months.

Whilst the role is unpaid (we would of course re-imburse you for expenses), Lougher Contemporary is committed to offering an internship that is of mutual benefit. We would be willing to provide a reference on completion of a minimum term of six weeks, and would also welcome regular dialogue and discussions with the successful candidate on the art market and industry.

This is a remote position and as such the work can be conducted from anywhere in the UK.

Please contact us at to enquire about the role or if you have any questions – we will respond within 5 working day.
