Lead Teacher - Dance Studies, The Royal Ballet School


The Royal Ballet School is one of the world’s greatest centres of classical ballet training. Our mission is to nurture, train and educate exceptional young dancers for the Royal Ballet companies and other leading UK and international companies and to inspire the future of classical ballet training. Our vision is to be the best classical ballet school in the world.

The Lead Teacher – Dance Studies is integral to the wider academic team, delivering inspirational learning that motivates young people to achieve their best. You will lead the Dance Studies department (KS3 & KS4) and teach on, and take responsibility for coordinating Year 2 of our degree programme.  

Duration:             Permanent starting summer term 2021

Hours:                   0.8 FTE (approx.)

Location:             White Lodge, Richmond Park 2.5 days.  Upper School, Covent Garden 1.5 days.

Salary:                  In line with UK teacher’s main scale with consideration of knowledge, skills and experience
