Learning Manager, Museum of Brands

Description

The Museum of Brands explore how brands shape, and are shaped by, people, culture and society. We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our team to deliver the growing and evolving learning programme. This is an exciting time to join a young Museum, recently relocated to a stunning new building with the ambition of becoming the best place to learn all about Brands and how they shape our world. This is a business and strategy role and you will be responsible for marketing and delivering a financially viable education programme. This role will suit someone with an interest in the commercial potential of museum education and professional and adult learning. Main duties are to promote a range of learning products for audiences ranging from early years to lifelong learners and professional development programme. You will implement a rolling marketing strategy, covering website learning pages, newsletters, social media, leaflets and brochures, seasonal promotions, targeted mailings and building the learning contact database. Through recruiting and training you will build a strong volunteer team who will support on the delivery of taught learning sessions and assist with marketing and taking bookings. Our unique collection of original branded products ranges from the Victorian times through to the present day, and offers great potential for innovative learning opportunities in subjects ranging from packaging design to business studies. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in education and marketing (ideally in the cultural sector or similar), have a clear understanding of commercial activity, enthusiasm for managing a volunteer team, excellent computer skills, exceptional spoken and written English and great interpersonal skills.
