Part-time Producer, Work and Play Scrapstore

Thriving re-use charity Work and Play Scrapstore is recruiting a Producer to create Scrapstore’s fourth annual mini green festival for this popular charity in Tooting, SW London.

The half-day event takes place on Sunday May 24th in association with the Wandsworth Arts Fringe, collaborating with local artists and performers of note, community groups and local residents to celebrate artful re-use.

The outdoor event takes place on the green outside the Hazelhurst Estate, and helps develop community participation by creating environmentally-friendly arts and crafts, installing artworks and exhibits and staging live entertainment.

The role involves securing and contracting all artists, planning the logistics, managing the volunteers, gaining all approvals, undertaking all risk assessments, engaging with the local residents and delivering another rewarding event.

Applicants must have experience in project managing art events.

Project fee £1,500 for ten days.
