Relationship Manager, Children, Young People and Learning 

Cambridge 

Salary: £31,975 per annum, plus excellent benefits 

Contract: Fixed term until 31 December 2020, working 35 hours per week 

Arts Council England is looking for a passionate and collaborative individual to join our Cambridge office team as a Relationship Manager, Children Young People & Learning for a 12-month fixed term position. You will work with organisations across a range of art forms in the East of England, while collaborating with colleagues in the South East and our national Children Young People team.

The role involves managing strong relationships with our National Portfolio Organisations in the East, including Bridge organisations and Music Education Hubs, a commitment to supporting building new partnerships, and ensuring delivery of the Cultural Education Challenge through supporting innovative quality work for, by and with the widest range of children and young people.

A knowledge of diverse arts practice in the area of children and young people is required, as well as experience supporting the development of a range of arts organisations and practitioners. The role will include monitoring the performance of regularly funded organisations, advising applicants on our funding programmes, and working with stakeholders to identify opportunities and challenges within the sector.

Internally, you will be part of a wider South East team and the national Children and Young People team, working with colleagues, sharing your expertise and helping to shape our strategy locally and nationally.

Our relationship managers are expected to have a high degree of autonomy and are supported to work both in the office and remotely to be efficient and effective in their jobs.
