Theatre Producer, Sabotage Theatre Company

Description

Sabotage Theatre Company are looking for an experienced Theatre Producer to help them develop their current show The Looker, with an aim to tour in 2019.

The Looker is a fresh and dynamic play about feeling lost, with clowning, puppets, masks, live music, sincere storytelling, poetic chaos and heartfelt silliness.

Vibrant, unique and uncompromisingly live; Sabotage Theatre is a grassroots company with a passion for adventure.  Last summer Sabotage toured an earlier version of The Looker, with horse and cart, performing in woods, barns, historic churches and fields across rural Kent and Sussex. This tour was produced by the Director.

Now we would like to move into more established touring networks, to expand our audience base, develop the company strategically, and have more time to concentrate on performing, directing and creating.

We are looking for a producer to take a lead on:

  • Managing finances and negotiating fees
  • Legalities and contracts
  • Tour booking
  • Developing strategic connections and partners

And to work closely with the director on:

  • Writing funding applications
  • Developing a marketing strategy
  • managing the company, and the logistics of a tour

If you are interested in the position, please contact zoe@sabotagetheatre.com

The Looker will be performed at The Brighton Spiegeltent, info below:
