Welsh language tutor, Bishopsgate Institute

Description

Bishopsgate Institute runs a learning programme for adults comprising courses, workshops, masterclasses and other classes. These usually take place at lunchtime and in the evening on weekdays, and during the day at weekends. We offer a broad programme – ranging from Performing Arts and Body & Exercise courses to Languages courses – and students come to us to pursue a particular interest, to build their confidence in a particular discipline, to meet like-minded people, and for personal and professional development.

Looking forward to the Autumn Term 2018, we are planning to expand our Languages offer to include an introductory session focussed on the Welsh language. We are looking for a freelance tutor to deliver this session, which would take place on a Saturday during term time (late September to December).

You will need to be able to demonstrate previous success teaching groups of adults. Our standard hourly rate for tutors is £32.

Please send expressions of interest to Simon Vickery (simon.vickery@bishopsgate.org.uk) by the end of Friday 27th April, including your CV, two referees, and an outline of how you would approach teaching this session.
