Workshop Leader & Assistants - Hampshire/ South Downs, The Crafty Hen

Come join the brood: we are seeking dynamic, experienced, workshop leaders & assistants to run ad-hoc craft sessions for our crafty events company. We are looking for people who will bring a sense of fun as well as skill sharing to our groups, the majority of which are hen parties.

We are recruiting for particular sessions, but also seeking to increase our pool of workshop providers across Hampshire & South Downs areas. Many sessions are in rural locations; we are looking for people roughly based within/ between the Crawley, Guildford, Chichester, Winchester areas and can cover areas surrounding these. Therefore your own transport is essential.

Please take a look at our website to get a flavour of what we do

Materials and equipment will be provided for each session, and all preparation done for you, we just need your flair to host and teach our groups. Basic training can be provided on the exact session content, but we envisage you teaching it with your own style. Please note we are not looking for workshop proposals.

These roles usually suit someone already working freelance, or someone wanting to pick up an occasional bit of extra weekend work.

  • *Registered self-employed.
  • Workshop leading experience
  • Textile Skills - hand sewing, appliqué etc
  • Jewellery skills  - bead & Wire work

  • Ability to run a fun session

*so long as you are self employed and have weekend availabilty, and meet some of the other criteria, we may be able to consider you as a workshop assistant, so please do send in an application.
To apply: Please also forward your CV to (leader roles) with your area application in the subject line.
