A month left to submit to Tymes Goe By Turnes, Arachne Press/ Solstice Shorts Festival

Solstice Shorts Festival 2020 call for submissions

Write a story or poem or song that responds or reacts to or is inspired by the poem Tymes goe by Turnes by Robert Southwell, or some concept in it. Also open to musical settings of the actual poem – I think there is at least one already. Up to 2000 words max for any format.

We want enormous change, finding balance, release… but please, no religion.

Work will be performed by you or an actor, at the festival (21st December 2020, in London or possibly on line) and published in the anthology (21st March 2021). Performance licence fee (dependent on funding) and royalties from anthology sales (not dependent on funding).

If the worst happens and we can’t hold the festival this year (though we are incredibly ingenious), we will put it off to 2021, and have the book ready to launch at the festival. We’ll work it out, but please be prepared for the possibility of a twelve month delay.

Deadline 21st June 2020.
