Coney are proud to present The Young Coneys News Network - a bi-weekly news bulletin
masterminded by a group of 7-13 year old change makers in lockdown.

The Young Coneys are a group of young people from Tower Hamlets who make play to
spark change for others, especially grown-ups. They’re offered a rolling education in play,
giving them the opportunity to nurture their individual superpowers and use their creativity to
change the world.

We usually meet the Young Coneys regularly in workshops led by expert artists and makers,
developing their creative skills and specialisms. Through these workshops, they tell us what
they think about the world – as the future voices of Coney, heard now.

During this period of lockdown, we’re continuing to offer this, but we’ve been meeting them
on ZOOM, Youtube Live and Whatsapp to set them creative tasks in order to build their next
project from home.

Watch the Young Coneys News Network for some good news stories, hard-hitting interviews
with household objects, big thank yous to our key workers and living room sports
