BEAF Commissions Programme provides commission opportunities for all individual artists, collaborative partners and groups to create new, temporary events, performances, exhibitions and community programmes.

All we require is a short Expression of Interest - it’s the idea and the concept behind it that we are most interested in for the EOI. The work must be a new project or a development of earlier work that has not been shown before in Bournemouth.  A selection process will take place, and shortlisted proposals will be invited to provide further detail before final selection.  The Commissions will be announced at the start of January 2019.

Who Can Apply?

All creatives working in any medium, either individually or as part of a group who are currently based in, or originally from Bournemouth/Dorset, or who remain connected to the county through work, family or professional associations.

What are the dates?

All events must take place within the Festival period, Saturday 4 May – Sunday 12  May 2019.

Mentoring and Support Programme

Each commissioned project will be supported with a mentor and will be offered access to free training sessions, crits and networking events.

Deadline for completed EOI Monday 17 December 2018
