Children's Poetry Competition 2020, Live Canon

Description

The 2020 Children's Poetry Competition is now open for entries.

To submit, visit: http://www.livecanon.co.uk/childrenscompetition

We can't wait to read your poems!

There are four age categories (according to school year):

- Reception to Year 3 (Early Years and Key Stage 1)

- Years 4-6 (Key Stage 2)

- Years 7-9 (Key Stage 3)

- Years 10-13 (Key Stage 4)

There's a £50 book token for the winner in each age category, and a selection of books for the runners up. There's also a prize for the best set of entries from one school.

But most excitingly.... 100 poems will be selected to be published in our 2020 Children's Anthology and the young poets will be invited to an event on 10th May at Greenwich Theatre to launch the anthology and celebrate their work.

You can order a copy of the 2019 Children's Anthology from our store: www.livecanon.co.uk/store

Every year we fundraise to make this competition possible. If you'd like to make a donation, or to help us spread the word, please visit our fundraising page here:
