Creative Jewellery Making Weekend with Anna Watson (25 - 26 Aug), Phoenix Brighton

Experiment with jewellery making materials such as copper and silver to create your own designs. Presented as part of Phoenix Brighton's Summer School.

This course is designed to be as flexible as possible, allowing you to create your own designs and work on your own projects at your own pace. You are not told what to make and will be encouraged to make whatever you like within the time limits of the course. You will be guided through techniques as you go along. We have a limited supply of copper, and silver can be purchased in class. Prices for silver range from £5-£20 depending on what you want to make. You will also need to buy saw blades! We have equipment and tools but please note that this is not a purpose built jewellery workshop but a great supportive environment for exploration and experimentation. The course is suitable for students of all abilities including absolute beginners!

Some basic materials, including copper, will be provided. Silver and piercing saw blades can be purchased from the course tutor in class.
