First National Day of Arts in Care Homes,

Calling all care homes, artists, museums, galleries and arts organisations. We're launching the first National Day of Arts in Care Homes on Tuesday 24 September 2019 and would love you to take part.

The aim is to promote the wealth of great arts activities and projects already taking place in care homes across England and to encourage more. The arts enhance the health and well-being of care home residents and staff, providing enjoyment, motivation and a better quality of life. We would like to see daily arts provision in all care homes.

Get involved by organising an arts activity, big or small, in or for a care home on 24 September and let us know what you are planning. Dance, music, visual arts, ceramics, singing, drama, creative writing, everyday creativity - the choice is yours.
