Free Folk Song Workshop, Leith Hill Place, Surrey


Come and join us at Leith Hill Place, childhood home to Ralph Vaughan Williams in a free folk song workshop led by the talented folk group and music educationalists, Morrigan and be part of a planned sound installation on show at the house from the 1stJune – 1stJuly 2018.

Morrigan are a four piece, a cappella group of experienced musicians whose members among them have taught musicians, actors and singers internationally and performed at the Royal Albert Hall, The Festival Hall, Glastonbury, and many other venues.

As Morrigan take you through their arrangements of 4 songs from the Vaughan Williams folk song collection, the Arts Council funded artists in residence for the National Trust, Julie Hoyle, Mary Branson and Penny Green will make recordings, provide refreshments and sing along for a fun and musical evening.
