END OF YEAR HIT THE GROUND WORKSHOP

Need a bit of Nurturing?

HIT THE GROUND workshops are facilitated by Artistic Leader, interdisciplinary performance-maker and poet, Lateisha Davine Lovelace-Hanson. Rooted in Afro-Diasporic spiritual principles of Oneness and Upliftment and embodied social justice frameworks; Lateisha will take you on a playful, cosmic and visceral journey.

Lateisha has brought her unique and inspirational workshops to socially engaged theatre’s, activist spaces and charities the like, including Cardboard Citizens, The Advocacy Academy, 999 Club Homelessness Centre, Yard Theatre, BAC, The Lowry, DIY Space For London and Barbican. 

Exploring...

•             Meditation: intention setting, visualisation

•             Somatic ritual: movement, impulse/contact improvisation, ensemble

•             Writing: conscious freewriting, self-writing, poetry

•             Sharing: listening, speaking from the place of ‘I’
