Ignition 2018, Frantic Assembly

Are you male? Aged 16-20? Determined & energetic? Then this is for you!

Ignition is Frantic Assembly's FREE, national training programme for young men aged 16-20. The programme seeks out talent in unexpected places, from sports groups to youth centres, and is committed to helping young men find their individual and collective strength. We want to bring together a dynamic group from across the UK with different backgrounds, skills and stories.

No experience is necessary and we’re particularly looking for young men who haven’t taken part in drama or dance before.

Taster and Trial workshops are delivered with regional arts partners across the UK and 12 of the brightest and bravest young men are selected to form the Ignition Company. We bring the Company to London to live and work together for 7 days; working with Frantic Assembly’s Artistic Director, Scott Graham to create an original performance. This year’s Ignition Company will perform to a live audience at the Imperial War Museum and Stratford Circus Arts Centre.

The Ignition programme is completely free for all participants, including travel and accommodation for those chosen for the Company. Any additional access needs will be available.

Ignition also includes a year-round Back Up programme which continues the training, mentoring and sign posting of opportunities to Ignition participants in their regions.
