Thursdays 6.45pm-9.30pm starting 8th March 2012 (£160 for 10 sessions).

John Kneen leads a 10 week programme of evening lessons introducing and developing your skills in a range of painting techniques.

 Program:

A ten week painting course covering an introduction to many techniques in the use of watercolour, acrylics and oil painting. Classes will be taken by experienced artist and teacher John Kneen, who will take students through each stage in a relaxed and friendly manner.

  • Week One - Watercolour / Subject Matter - Still Life
  • Week Two - Watercolour and Ink / Subject Matter - Still Life
  • Week Three - Acrylic in Monochrome / Subject Matter - An Animal
  • Week Four - Acrylic in Colour / Subject Matter - An Animal
  • Week Five - Acrylic in Colour / Subject Matter - Harbour, Dock Scene
  • Week Six - Acrylic Impasto / Subject Matter - Beach Scene
  • Week Seven - Oils / Subject Matter - Liverpool
  • Week Eight - Oils Impasto / Subject Matter - London
  • Week Nine - Medium of Choice / Subject Matter - Portrait, Self Portrait
  • Week Ten - Medium of Choice / Subject Matter - Subject of Choice 

Dates: Spring Session 2012, Thursday evenings from 6.45-9.30pm 

8th March, 15th March, 22nd March, 29th March, 5th April,

EASTER BREAK,

26th April, 3rd May, 10th May, 17th May, 24th May.

Venue:
The Bluecoat, School Lane, Liverpool, L1 3BX
Situated in the centre of Liverpool, just behind Church Street, down Church Alley and in front of Liverpool ONE. 

Cost: 

£16 per session / £160 for the 10 week course (full course must be booked in advance) Participants will need to bring their own materials.

  • There are a maximum of 15 places available on the course, so early booking is essential.
