Introduction to sumi-e and shodo, Donko Projects

Description

One-day workshops on sumi-e (Japanese ink-painitng) and shodō (Japanese calligraphy) for all abilities. Following traditional step-by-step methods, an introduction to the techniques and materials with an overview of the masterpieces in these fields to gain valuable insight into these important artforms of the Far East.

Cost: £50 for the day (including all essential materials); coffee and tea on tap but bring your own lunch or use the excellent vegetarian cafe.
