Life Drawing & Painting Studio, Candid Arts Trust


Develop your painting technique working from the life model in a sustained pose with guidance from an experienced tutor and practicing artist.
This life painting studio course is set up to support students who want to work independently but with some tutor guidance and group feedback.
Optional advice and information will be given on:
 Ways to improve colour mixing – skin tones
 Tone
 Creating depth
 Developing and pushing your own painting technique
 Exploring different palette colours
 Making stronger compositions
 Surface choices
 Ground colour choices
 Dealing with common problems
 Taking inspiration from different artist images and approaches

If you have already been to one of our untutored sessions but feel you need a little
extra support and guidance then this course is recommended.

Dates: 12th, 19th, 26th January & 2nd February 2019
Time: 10am – 4.30pm
Tutor: Kim Scouller / James Hague
Fee: £210 or £60 per session (some materials are provided)

Suitable for those with some painting experience – (intermediate to advanced).
