6-week course: £55 per term, £44 Concession, £10 Drop-in

New students can try out any class for £5 on their first visit!

This fun and informative course will build on the basics of Lindy Hop and explore its roots as an African-American partner dance originating in the late 1920s. This level is aimed at those who have attended both Beginners 10-week courses at CDS or who are comfortable with the basic 6, 8 count and Breakaway steps (Solo Vernacular jazz moves) and basic Charleston moves.

Angela’s charismatic and uplifting teaching style will transport you back to the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem, New York, where everybody was welcome to dance, perform and compete, regardless of skin colour or social class.

For questions about our classes, please email education@chisenhaledancespace.co.uk or call 020 8981 6617 between 10am and 6pm.
