Brilliant trumpeter and flugelhorn player Yazz Ahmed will be coming to the NYJO Academy this Sunday 20th May, leading an improvisation workshop for young musicians. Yazz will be exploring the scales and rhythms that make up her sound and young musicians will go on to apply these to create improvised pieces and tackle challenging notation.

ALL melody instruments are welcome - No previous experience playing jazz required!

Ability Guideline: Grade 4 upwards. Some reading ability needed.
