Performer-Practitioner Training Event [16 December, Coventry], Highly Sprung

Description

Highly Sprung are currently looking to extend their pool of performer-practitioners with physical theatre or dance theatre expertise. This training event is an opportunity to meet and work with talented performer-practitioners with a passion for creative learning.

As a result of the training we will be making invitations to join our highly experienced team of artists, for the delivery of inspiring participatory projects that take place in a range of settings throughout the year.

The training event will be an insight into our creative processes and focus on the aesthetics of embodied learning, with an emphasis on exploring our style and practice and how we apply this in both performance and education contexts.

We would welcome applications to join us for this training opportunity from performer-practitioners with experience working with children and young people in and outside of education.

Training date: Monday 16th December. 10am-4pm

Location: Coventry

The training will be a day of practical workshops, group tasks and individual teaching opportunities. This will be an insight into the approaches and practices of Highly Sprung, as well as an opportunity for you to show your own skills and specialisms. We hope that this will be an inspiring and exciting day, resulting in new possibilities of future working partnerships with those who attend, and show particular aptitude in working in the Highly Sprung approach.

If work is offered, full training and shadowing placements will be offered as part of an in-depth induction process.

To apply for the training opportunity: Please send a relevant CV and short expression of interest, outlining your relevant experience and reasons for wanting to attend the training day.
