Printmaking Taster Classes, Slaughterhaus Print Studio

SLAUGHTERHAUS Print Studio in Stockwell runs short three hour printmaking Taster Classes every month- ideal to refresh your techniques or to try out something new and find out if you like it. Our classes are fast paced, and with small numbers of students you will get lots of attention, practical help, and plenty of ideas to take away.

Trace Monotype Taster

Saturday 25 January, 1.30- 4.30pm

Tutor: Michelle Avison

Cost: £54. Acrylic plate, inks and paper included.

Monotype printmaking is a great introduction to printmaking. On this 3 hour taster course you will find out how to make trace monotypes using different drawing tools and then how to print the reverse image from the plate - two prints for the price of one! 

Linocut Taster

Saturday 15 February 2020, 1.30- 4.30pm

Tutor: Michelle Avison

£54. Includes lino, paper and ink.

Work with artist Michelle Avison on this three hour printmaking taster course exploring lino printing. A great introduction to the technique, and a fabulous way to explore your creativity, this printmaking class will teach how to cut the lino, stay safe with the tools, and take you through inking and printing.
