Black Swan Arts Round Tower Gallery, 2 Bridge Street, Frome, BA11 1BB.

This is a new sound installation created from a chance find in Frome of a large collection of people’s photographs dated from the 1920’2 to the 1950;s.
For the last twenty-five years Scanner’s work has focused on animating and bringing to life many of the invisible aspects of our world, exploring the relationship between sound and architecture, whilst stimulating visitors to deepen their relationship to place. This new work takes inspiration from the town of Frome itself, bringing to life stories only imagined. It’s a chance to tune into a unique world of sonic exploration, drawing on the detritus of lives lived and forgotten.

Installation open from Monday 12th to Friday 16th August, 10am to 4pm each day. Free.
