Description

From the Crowd is a powerful, inclusive and immersive outdoor performance inspired by the spirit of Peterloo and the voices of people today.

Created by Evie Manning (Common Wealth Theatre) with music composed and directed by Robin Richards (Dutch Uncles), From the Crowd will weave together eyewitness accounts of those present in 1819 and the words of contemporary protestors and poets.

The choir will learn four original pieces written by Robin Richards (Dutch Uncles). The rehearsal schedule is below.

Mon 5 Aug, 6-8pm
Tue 6 Aug, 6-9pm
Wed 7 Aug, 6-9pm

Thu 15 Aug 2-8.30pm (compulsory – technical rehearsal on-site)
