A platform for debate for business advisers, higher education teaching personnel, technology transfer managers, creative practitioners and lawyers: A two-day conference - but you are welcome to book just one day!
We live in an innovation-based economy with intellectual property (IP) as the driving force of sustainability and growth. Therefore, IP is one of the most valuable assets of a creative business. Creative sector graduates and businesses need to be aware of how to protect, manage and exploit IP rights in order to sustain or grow a business in a global and very competitive market place. Business advisors and creative sector academics need to recognise the value of IP, know about new opportunities of exploitation and when and where to refer their clients or students for further intervention.
Speakers and panellists include:
- Nigel Carrington, rector, University of the Arts London (UAL)
- Tibor Gold MBE
- Kelvin King, director, Valuation Consulting Limited
- Ruth Soetendorp, associate director, Centre for Intellectual Property Policy and Management, Bournemouth University
