Write & Shine's December Festival

  • London, East
  • crafts, combined arts, dance, film, interdisciplinary arts, libraries, literature, museums, photography, music, theatre, visual arts

Write & Shine’s December Festival is a set of unique and playful events to brighten the end of the year.

There’s a creative writing workshop on poetry and taxidermy led by Shazea Quraishi, a solstice event on midwinter’s day with music and song, and a writing retreat that will begin in darkness, gather energy from the sunrise and conclude with the light of morning.

Join Write & Shine for a month of misrule, revelry and imagination. The festival is accompanied by a wonderfully mischievous illustration by Sophie Herxheimer.

Write & Shine morning writing workshops, events and online courses are open to everyone, whether you’re new to writing, have some experience or simply want more creativity into your working day.
