Yinka Shonibare in conversation with Mark Rappolt, Sarabande: The Lee Alexander McQueen Foundation


Sarabande Foundation is offering a limited run of discounted tickets to see Turner prize nominee, Yinka Shonibare speak at Sarabande on Monday 13th May, 7 - 9pm.

Represented by Blain | Southern, Shonibare's work is included in notable museum collections including Tate, London; the National Museum of African Art, Smithsonian Institute, Washington D.C.; Museum of Modern Art, New York; Guggenheim Abu Dhabi; Moderna Museet, Stockholm and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago among others.

He will be in conversation with Mark Rappolt of ArtReview to discuss his interdisciplinary practice that uses citations of Western art history and literature to question the validity of contemporary cultural and national identities within the context of globalization.
