Description

We are undertaking a survey to support the Paul Hamlyn Foundation (PHF) Special Initiative called ArtWorks, which seeks to understand and develop support for artists working in participatory settings.  We are interested in responses from practising artists from all artform areas, who may engage to whatever extent with individuals, groups and communities through their practice.

Please click on the link below to access the survey:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ArtWorksArtistsSurvey

If you are not a practising artist, but work with or support practising artists, please do send them the link to this survey.

We ask that you complete the survey by Wednesday 19th February.

All responses will be anonymous, and under no circumstances will individual responses be made available to partners in the project or published. The survey is being undertaken by an independent research agency, DHA. If you would like to know more about the survey or the way in which responses will be used, please contact Tamsin Cox, Head of Policy and Research at DHA, at: tamsin@dhacommunications.co.uk

Unpaid opportunities

We recognise that there is great value in people having access to proper work experience, where it is offered and arranged properly and is a mutually beneficial arrangement, but that this should never be used as a way of attempting to circumvent national minimum wage regulations. Please ensure that your posts are compliant with our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to remove any posts without further notice to you which, in our reasonable judgment, do not comply with the terms and conditions.

Internships in the arts

Arts Council and Creative & Cultural Skills have published these guidelines to help clarify the legal obligations of arts organisations offering internships.

Please note that we will not accept postings on Arts Jobs for unpaid internships unless they are part of a recognised further or higher education course.
