Intermediate Linocut Course with Chris Pig

Students will learn how to cut and print a two colour reduction lino print taking chiaroscuro woodcuts as a lead. This technique is a relief printing technique and the course is suitable for people who want to extend their knowledge and skills in lino, woodblock or Japanese vinyl relief printing techniques.
The course will cover reductive cutting, registration, inking and printing, as well as having the technical expertise of an experienced master printer.

Geared towards those who have attended Lino – beginners or have some experience of lino, woodblock or Japanese vinyl printing, although most of the basics will be recapped.

All materials and gouges will be provided so that students can work on their compositions at home.

Starts 23rd July for 3 evenings 7:00pm 10:00pm
