Physical Laboratory Workshop for Actors | London | 17th June, Animikii Theatre

At Animikii Theatre, we use techniques in embodied movement and combine them with the rigour of actor training. Through training these combined principles you will begin to unlock the full potential of the actor in performance.

During the one day workshop you will work and train in an ensemble using#AdaptiveReactivetraining to remove the unnecessary time-lapse between inner impulse and outer reaction,#BodyDynamicsto liberate your body through the use of precise forms, and#ImaginativePlayto recharge your work with your stage partners.

Animikii theatre are a laboratory company based in Manchester who create work that brings to life myth, legend and the epic in embodied stage experiences. Artistic directors, Henry McGrath and Adam Davies are associate artists at Song of the Goat theatre and Tmesis theatre. Both have taught extensively across the UK. Animikii's performance, Origins, based on the Cain and Abel story has toured to The Lowry Theatre, Circomedia, Southbank Centre, and received the Voice Magazine ‘Pick of the Fringe’ award at Zoo Venues, Edinburgh Fringe 2017.
