Youth Circus Summer School, National Centre for Circus Arts

Dates: 30 July - 3 August

Our Youth Circus Summer Schools offer young people the chance to spend a week at the National Centre for Circus Arts, learning a range of circus skills. Our beginner summer school programme allows participants to try out a range of circus skills across disciplines, including aerial, acrobatics, balancing and juggling.

Ideal for 8 - 11 year olds and 12 - 18 year olds who haven’t done circus before or may have been taking classes recreationally over the last few years.

An Advanced Summer School is also available during the same week, for young people who have been learning circus more intensely for at least three years.

Bursaries available:

A limited number of funded places on the beginner and advanced summer school have been made available. These are for young people living in London who may not otherwise be able to afford to take part in the programme at the National Centre for Circus Arts. Bursaries cover the full cost of the Summer School.

Bursaries are open to anyone to apply; however priority for these places will go to students living in Hackney, Islington and Tower Hamlets with a household income of less than £29,340 per annum.

Deadline to apply for a Summer School Bursary is Friday 22 June.
