Men's Bow Tie & Waistcoat Sewing Workshop, Fabrications - Hackney

Join Offset Warehouse and Fabrications and our special guest of honour Russell Philip Peek for a fun, creative and aspirational evening learning how to sew a man’s bow tie or cravat, waistcoat - or both! Whether you’re a seasoned sewer, or have little or no experience but would love to have a go, there will be something for you. Come along to Fabrications, on Broadway Market in East London and spend a few hours after work discovering Offset Warehouse's ethical fabrics and learning how to sew using a domestic sewing machine!

What item should you choose?

Novice: Bow tie or cravat. No sewing experience is required.

Beginner: Waistcoat. No experience of garment-making is required, but you should know how to use a sewing machine.

Intermediate: Both one bow tie or cravat and waistcoat. You will need to have made a couple of garments before, but please note, sewing machines may be shared, so you may not have time to finish both but can take home all of the materials needed to finish.

While the focus of this evening is men’s garments, everyone is welcome.

WHERE: Fabrications, 7 Broadway Market, Hackney, London E8 4PH.
