Sejla Kameric: 1395 Days without Red at Coventry Cathedral, Coventry Biennial of Contemporary Art

We are delighted to present Šejla Kamerićs moving image artwork 1395 Days Without Red in the Chapter House at Coventry Cathedral. This artwork explores everyday life in Sarajevo, one of Coventry’s twin cities, during four years of siege in the 1990s. The work recalls the sounds, textures and atmospheres resonant within the city during this period. Tension, anticipation and resilience echo throughout the film.
