Clore Leadership is partnering with social enterprise Cause4 and the Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy programme – which works to improve philanthropy within culture – on a pilot programme to improve the diversity of arts organisations. It is intended to increase representation on theatre and cultural boards, and to support the trustees in their roles.

This course will support participants to find out about the key responsibilities, financial obligations and fundraising expectations for Trustees. It is a one-stop shop to equip you with everything you need to know before becoming a charity Trustee.

Our unique charity matching service will also help connect you with arts, culture and heritage organisations looking for new Trustees.

You will learn:

  • The importance of trustees to the charity sector

  • Governance models and strategic planning

  • Financial management requirements

  • Trustee responsibility for fundraising and income generation

Developed in partnership with Close Brothers and the Clothworkers’ Company

These courses are aimed at those individuals looking to be a trustee or chair of an arts, culture or heritage organisation.
