The London Musical Arts Conducting Course Ensemble is a great opportunity for anyone who plays an orchestral instrument and is interested in knowing more about the process of conducting.
You will play a variety of music with developing conductors under the guidance of John Landor, an experienced, sympathetic and imaginative teacher and Associate of the Royal Academy of Music, London.
If you want to try some conducting yourself, we can offer a short session of podium time when time allows.
Classes are in conjunction with the LMA Conducting Course which takes place on Wednesdays during term-time, 6.30 - 9.30 pm at King Solomon Academy, London NW1 6RX (a 2 minute walk from Edgware Road underground station).
Participation in the LMA Conducting Class Ensemble is free of charge.
Current repertoire is Schubert Symphony No 5, Mozart Symphony No 40 and Copland Appalachian Spring. Instruments required: Woodwind, Horns, Strings.
Please apply with your CV, and links to your playing if available via email@example.com
