Call for Entries: Aesthetica Creative Writing Award, Aesthetica Magazine


Now is the time to write, be creative and explore new ideas. Aesthetica is looking for new writing that pushes the boundaries of form and genre across poetry and fiction.

The Aesthetica Creative Writing Award is a fantastic opportunity to get your work published and reach new audiences.   

The Award is a showcase of new talent; your work could appear alongside fantastic writers including: Mark Fiddes, Ruskin Prize winner; Ella Duffy, shortlisted writer for the Bridport Prize; and Ella Frears, Writer- in-Residence at the National Trust.

    We select two winners; one for Poetry and one for
    Short Fiction. Both receive £1,000. Publication is
    awarded to a further 60 highly commended writers.

Previously published works are accepted. Poetry entries should be no more than 40 lines, and Short Fiction no more than 2,000 words. Deadline for entries 31 August 2020.
