Outer Limits Thurrock

Uncovering, connecting and helping to develop creative performance in Thurrock.

RESCHEDULED date: Friday 2nd October 2020 at Thameside Theatre, Grays

Submission deadline: Wednesday 29th July 2020

Due to the current lockdown, Outer Limits is now coming to the Thameside Theatre in Grays later in the year. The new date is Friday 2nd October and there’s a new deadline for submissions. So if you’re a theatre-maker, playwright, performer, poet, dance-maker or singer/songwriter (you may be just starting out or have loads of experience) and are looking to perform, be inspired, want to discover other artists in the area or are looking for support, then Outer Limits Thurrock wants to hear from you.

Emerging or established performance-makers or performers who love, live in or are connected to Thurrock can submit a proposal for inclusion in Outer Limits Thurrock. Scratch performances can be up to 15 minutes in length and expenses up to £100 will be paid. Ready to go performances can be between 30-60 minutes in length and depending on the scale of the piece, will receive a performance fee up to £500. The theatre’s technical staff will be available to support performances.

The new deadline for submissions is Wednesday 29 July at 5pm. Please email to request a form. All submissions will be considered. More to follow on the format of the festival for those who’d like to attend and be part of the discussion, but don’t wish to bring work…
