Writing Climate Crisis - next start date January 2020
Wednesday 15th January 2020 - Wednesday 8th April 2020
(this is one of the many courses offered by Live Canon; find out about other courses, and opportunities for feedback and coaching at www.livecanon.co.uk/courses)
We ran this course in Autumn 2019, and are bringing it back in January 2020. The course will spend 12 weeks exploring poetry, from across the world, which has been written in response to the current global climate emergency. Each week we will be using aspects of the environmental discourse to inspire new poems. This is a 12 week correspondence course, and you can take part from anywhere in the world. Each week you receive a tutorial via email (illustrated with videos and audio recordings). There are writing prompts and exercises to inspire work, an online chat group for discussion with other participants, and detailed written feedback, weekly, from the Live Canon team.
The cost is 160 pounds (half price for students and the unwaged).
