Derby Theatre are offering three bursaries of £2000 to help create high quality work made by BAME artists. They are for artists in the midlands of any theatre-related discipline to help develop their practice (eg take up an Assistant Directorship on a Derby Theatre show or work on a R&D etc), they are ring fenced for BAME artists in the recognition that these artists are currently under-represented in Derby Theatre’s pool of artists and in the wider industry. If you have any questions about your application, please email Rafia on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Deadline: 26th February
Interview date: 9th March
We are offering an artistic retreat in the Nottinghamshire countryside alongside an opportunity to perform your work at Derby Theatre’s flagship contemporary performance festival ‘Departure Lounge’.
